Many times the generic advice, if followed, strips the personality right out of an article and it ends up reading like something an algorithm wrote. I prefer to read a story full of "broken rules" but is interesting and exposes the personality of the writer, over a functionally correct article that is as dull as the multitudes of tiktok sourdough bread.
